Did you know that Opcenter Execution has a feedback portal where users can request new features? Since 2012, nearly 1,000 ideas have been submitted — but only 14% have been implemented. I dug into the data and started acting on it myself.

The Question That Sparked It
I was curious:
❓ How many ideas have actually been submitted?
❓ And how many of those made it into the product?
So, I built a scraper to pull all the portal data into Excel. 📊

What the Data Shows
📌 Since 2012, a total of 970 ideas have been submitted.
📌 Only 14% of them have been released.
That’s… disappointing. There are some truly great ideas in there, but most never see the light of day.

Why This Happens
From a business perspective, it often makes more sense to develop custom solutions over and over again—because hours can be billed each time.
But is that really the best approach?
A Better Way Forward
I believe in building generic, reusable solutions that benefit everyone.
- It challenges the traditional services business model.
- But it also drives faster innovation and greater efficiency.
So instead of just waiting, I decided to take action. 💡
I’ve started bringing some of these community ideas to life! 🚀
